AOC Sunday Report - Third Sunday in Advent

Happy Third Sunday in Advent!

The AOC Sunday Report is RIGHT HERE!

Today we have excellent sermons from Bishops Jerry and Roy, as well as from Revs Jack and Bryan. Each one of them is considerably different than the others, they actually cover some of the same scripture today, but not so much. I am confident you will enjoy each of them.  Rev Jack brings the Propers together today.    His sermon can be viewed on video HERE -> https://youtu.be/wXZRA1i0Rfk

Today’s Collect reflects the importance of each of us as managers and stewards for Christ, that we might prepare the world for His second coming, and by the way, for the end of our time here on earth. In the Epistle Paul points out man’s judgment of us is nothing compared to that of God. God knows our heart, soul and mind much better than we do. In the Gospel, Jesus tells Paul tells John’s disciples that He is the One. Just as is almost always the case, the propers point of the need for action, not just diction.

We always have a lot of people who need your prayer, today is not the exception and I doubt there ever will be.  Please take a bit of time to pray; start with Jim and Mary Lou, Tricia, Shamu, Larry, Tom, Laurie and work out from there.

As we approach Christmas, we sometimes forget how wonderful things are in this world. If you're having difficulty with that, try opening your heart further to the Holy Ghost and listen to it for his inspiration.

There is an epic week ahead, I hope you will find it.

Godspeed,
