Happy Fourth Sunday in Advent!  One more week until Christmas next Sunday!

We have wonderful sermons from Bishop Jerry and Roy, as well as Revs Jack and Brian.  Each is different, each is superb.  Rev Jack brings the Propers together today.    His sermon can be viewed on video RIGHT HERE -> https://youtu.be/ks_X0y2XBC4.  Today’s Collect reflects our need for His help to accept His  grace and mercy to properly perform our tasks here on earth. In the Epistle Paul points out our individual time here on earth draws nearer daily and we need to accept His help to be moderate in all things while being diligent in following His will.  The Gospel related John the Baptist’s initial interface with agents of the Pharisees.  It all comes together, listen or read to undertand how. Just as is almost always the case, the propers point of the need for action, not just diction.

There is a wonderful week ahead, Christmas comes this next Sunday. While you are thinking of all this remember Christ came into this world knowing how He would leave and yet He came here anyway that we might have life eternal.
